Message From FibroAction Founder Lindsey Middlemiss

Welcome to FibroAction's free e-newsletter for March 2010.

Sorry that we didn't get an e-newsletter out last month. We're still refining the way the e-newsletter gets done and things are pretty busy for us right now. I've also been battling a flare personally and you know what that is like!

Following a meeting between the major stakeholders in the proposed UK Fibro Alliance, we're now working on developing an Integrated Care Pathway for Fibro. FibroAction, FMA UK and UK Fibromyalgia agreed to work collaboratively on the care pathway but the proposed more formal Alliance is now not happening. See here for details.

I'm also really excited by a major project we've got ongoing to rejuvenate the website and make it even more informative and easier to use. Hopefully you'll start to see the results of this project over the next few months.

As part of this project, we're updating various areas of the current website, including the FibroAction Support Group Directory. If you run a support group for people with Fibro and would like your group's details to be publicised here, please contact the admin team.

We are also trying to compile a list of the NHS Fibro clinics and services available around the UK, so please let us know if you have been to an NHS Fibro clinic or NHS Fibro course that we don't yet know about. Check our current list here.

If you Twitter, you can follow us @fibroaction.

Or if you're on Facebook, check out the UK Fibromyalgia Syndrome Awareness group.
