Swindon Foggy’s was launched in June 2010, and our aim is to raise awareness, provide information and support for fellow Fibromyalgia sufferers and their carers and/or loved ones.

Our primary support is for:

· Fibromyalgia
· M. E. & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
· Endometriosis
· Irritable Bowel Syndrome
· Peripheral Neuropathy
· Polymyalgia Rheumatica & Giant Cell Arteritis
· Seasonal Affective Disorder
· Trigeminal Neuralgia

Once a month we will be meeting up in an informal and social atmosphere to discuss coping mechanisms and to generally share any concerns members may have dealing with this invisible illness.

Informal group meetings are held at:

Liden Community Centre, Barrington Close, Liden, Swindon SN3 6HF

Every 3rd Monday of the month
7.30pm onwards

We’d like for our carers / loved ones to get together too. We tend to forget how hard it is for them too and it must be very confusing and frustrating for them. We appreciate how difficult it is to manage this condition especially as family, friends and some members of the medical profession find it so hard to comprehend.

We would like to setup a newsletter for sharing our experiences and thoughts, and catalogue resources, for example, sympathetic GP’s, non-medical treatments and to make sure that people who can’t attend, get the info and support that they need.
