Gastroenterology

The medical specialty concerned with the function and disorders of the stomach, intestines, and related organs of the gastrointestinal tract.

Gastrointestinal (GI)

Relating to the stomach and the intestines.

Gastroscopy

The visual inspection of the interior of the stomach by means of a flexible fiberoptic tube (a gastroscope) inserted through the mouth.

Brownish-grey nerve tissue, especially of the brain and spinal cord, composed of nerve cell bodies and their dendrites and some supportive tissue.

Guaifenesin is an expectorant medication commonly used in the USA as a cough and cold medicine. It is the medication used in the Guaifenesin Protocol, an experimental and widely debated protocol for the treatment of Fibro that was proposed by Dr Paul R St Amand.
