About FibroAction

Together We Can Make A Difference. Support FibroAction

FibroAction is a dynamic national charity (registered charity number 1125957) dedicated to educating people about Fibro, especially in the UK.

FibroAction was created because a group of people felt that raising awareness of Fibro in the UK was essential to the future wellbeing of everyone with the condition.

Awareness of Fibro in the UK is very low and many patients suffer unnecessarily because of this, with lengthy diagnosis times and often poor treatment after diagnosis. Fibro patients also often struggle because employers, government officials and friends know nothing about the condition. FibroAction hopes to make a real difference to awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome.

Our mission is to educate people about Fibromyalgia Syndrome (Fibro), including people with Fibro, their family, friends and carers, healthcare professionals and the public at large, as well as providing support to patients.

Our vision is that the needs of people with Fibro are universally recognised and met, with fast and accurate diagnoses and easy access to optimal treatment programs available to all people with Fibro.

For information on how you can help FibroAction work to raise awareness of Fibro, please see the Support FibroAction section.
